Pastor Michael "Bong" Abagon
Bong is a graduate of Gateway Seminary and is currently pursuing a doctorate program in Ministry. He serves as the Oahu Baptist Network Moderator, pulpit supplies for churches and pastors Mililani Fil-Am Baptist Church. He serves as a teaching staff at Oahu Bible Institute. He is also a ministry specialist where he offers help to ministries in different capacities. He is married to Cristina and they have three adult boys, Micah, Miko and Michak.

Pastor Kaleb Barrett
Pastor Kaleb grew up in New England and has served in Connecticut, Illinois, Texas, and Hawaii churches. He has attended Trinity International University (B.A. in Music), Gateway Seminary (M.Div. in Biblical Studies), and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.M. in Church Music), where he is currently pursuing a Th.M. in Worship. He has taken a particular interest in worship theology and the Psalms through his studies. Pastor Kaleb served as an Associate Pastor in Hawaii from 2019-2022. He serves as a Bible Teacher for Bethesda Christian School in Fort Worth, Texas. He has been married to Naomi since 2014. They attend Church of Christ the King (SBC), where they are active in the music ministry, and he assists in the teaching ministry.

Pastor Amel Dominguez
Pastor Amel was led to Christ at Community Bible Church of Vallejo, CA, as a young teenager in 1992 where he met his wife Vangie whom he married in 1998. They have four children. After several years of growing and serving in the church through various ministries, he and his family uprooted from California in 2009 to help plant Island Grace Church of Mililani, before he served as associate pastor at Hawaii Kai Church, and then finally where he currently serves as senior pastor at First Baptist Church Haleiwa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from The Cornerstone Bible College and Seminary. He also holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity College of the Bible and Theological Seminary.

Dr. David McQuitty
Dr. David McQuitty is an ordained Baptist minister and church education specialist.
David was born in California, childhood lived in Oklahoma, adolescence and college years residing in Colorado. His academic journey included a Ph.D., Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Fort Worth, TX.
For five decades Dr. McQuitty has served in a variety of ministries in churches in Virginia, Hawaii and Texas. From 1984 until retirement, his career was as a seminary administrator and teacher at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.
Presently, David volunteers with the Hawaii Pacific Baptist Convention churches in the areas of church leadership development and teaching instructor with the OBI/OBN.
David is married to his best friend and ministry partner, Marcia. They are blessed with three grown sons and four grandchildren.

Born and raised in Hawaii, Harlan grew up in Kaneohe and graduated from Castle High School. He attended International College and Graduate School and received his Masters of Divinity in 2004. Harlan felt a call to be a Pastor during his years at seminary. At the seminary, he could not cover the cost of tuition. Harlan started praying and asking the Lord, “if you want me to be a Pastor, please provide the tuition I need to complete my diploma.” Two weeks later, a Pastor from Mililani hired Harlan as Youth Pastor and Worship Leader. The church agreed to cover the entire cost of the tuition. From that time till today, Harlan knows that God has called him to be a Pastor. Harlan is married to Dana Nakasone for 31 years. They adopted two boys - RJ (16) and Elijah (14).

Mark is a graduate of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (Ph.D.), and served there as a full-time adjunct professor (2007-2009). Since 2010, he serves as pastor of Kaumana Drive Baptist Church in Hilo, Hawaii, where he was born and raised. He is married to Charlene and they have two adult children, Kyle and Yaeko.

Dr. Alan Tamashiro
Pastor Alan Tamashiro was born on Oahu and grew up in Kalihi Valley. He graduated from Farrington High School in 1977. In 1991, Pastor Alan graduated from Wayland Baptist University, Hawaii Campus with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education. In 1992, he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated in 1998 with a Master of Divinity with Biblical Languages and a Master of Religious Education. He would later return to Southwestern Seminary and graduate with a Doctor of Ministry degree in 2013.
Pastor Alan has pastored Puna Baptist Church in Pahoa, Hawaii for the last 25 years. Puna Baptist is Pastor Alan’s first and only church he has served as pastor after graduating from seminary. When asked about his philosophy of ministry, he replied: “I want my ministry to be a balance of biblical scholarship and practical churchmanship.”
Pastor Alan lives on the Big Island with his wife Marlene. They have 4 children: TK, Ruthie, Jessie, and Timothy. Marlene is the primary care giver for her 94-year-old mother. Pastor Alan enjoys watching sports, musicals, and plays. It gives him great satisfaction when his students really learn the subject matter.

William Clay "Bill" Taylor was born in Clarkrange, Tennessee. He joined the Air Force in October 1978 and became a Chaplain Services Manager until retiring October 1, 1991. After retiring from the Air Force, he attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (SWBTS) and in December 1996 received a Master of Arts in Religious Education degree. Then in January 2002 he received a Master of Library Science degree from the University of North Texas and worked as the Serials Librarian at SWBTS for 16 years. He moved back to Hawaii in May 2014 and now serves as a substitute teacher at Hawaii Baptist Academy and as an instructor for the Oahu Bible Institute.
